It annoys me when you or someone else posts a picture with you in it and everyone in the comments just talks about how amazing you are but not the picture itself. I'm not saying you aren't amazing, cause you are, but it seems like you are all most people care about.

oh i know, i worry about that sometimes. i mean, i really like when people think that i am a nice person or cool or interesting or stuff. that makes me feel good. i only really get upset when it seems there are more creepy people talking about my appearance, rather than people who actually like my pictures. i know that’s how it is, really; i am not stupid, and i am not ignorant about where my appeal lies. i wish that what drew people to me was a talent for taking pictures, but i know that i’m not an amazing photographer, and a lot of my returning viewers probably have a possibly creepy side for why they look at my pictures. i wish more than anything that i was really truly talented at making amazing pictures and that’s why people care. but that’s not the case, and that is okay. that is how it is. i hope that maybe i can at least trick people into caring about the things i care about, noticing beauty in things they maybe would never have noticed otherwise.

Why do some people steal your photos and / or posing as Cari Ann Wayman? How do you feel about that?

i do not know why people do that. it is weird. i feel it is weird. i am not offended unless they are only doing because they think i am dumb. i don’t care too much if people steal my pictures. i mean, it’s a stupid thing to do, and i will tell them to stop, but i don’t get angry or anything. i just ask them to stop.

Hi! :) How do you know which of your pictures to submit to your Flickr etc or do you just go with everything? cause whenever I take pictures i tend to be seriously dissatisfied with the result! hopefully this question makes sense

oh i go with everything. for me flickr is basically a picture dump site. i guess every website i use is that, though. i’m not very selective. i think it would help to condense and have a small very concise portfolio somewhere, but my brain does not operate well under those types of parameters.

Where do you get your clothes from? Your sense of style is amazing.

thrift stores for the most part. i think it is a good idea to look in the children’s section. also there is a square dance shop in my town where i get a lot of dresses. you can find those online but they are always expensive, and i am lucky to have found a place locally that sells square dance dresses. also the children’s section of target has cute things, often on clearance, and the clothes there are prettier than the adult section. ebay and etsy are good for looking for vintage clothing too, but you have to know what you’re searching for. it helps if you know certain brands that you like, which for me are things like lanz or gunne sax or jeri bee. i hope that helps. :]
