i really want to get started exploring abandoned...
knock on the door of one of the neighbors and ask about the place. i’ve never had anything bad come of that. they’ll either tell you who the owner is or even give you permission to explore the place. just be real nice and polite about it, and you probably won’t have a problem. plus that way they know someone’s in there and what’s going on. people tend to call the cops...
